ABOUT:

STILL MOTION MUSIC is a Los Angeles-based music company with 15 years of composing and production experience, working behind the scenes with musicians, producers, directors, music supervisors and ad agencies. Principals are Paul Masvidal and Amy Correia.

MASVIDAL and CORREIA formed ONWARD WITH LOVE (OwL) in 2015, a musical collaboration that aims in part to use music and performance art in the context of community service. They will release their debut album in 2016. The pair's singular points of view make for an intriguing synthesis of Eastern-influenced philosophy, symbolist poetry, American blues, jazz and prog rock. OwL is currently performing in concert venues, hospices and art galleries around greater Los Angeles.

PAUL MASVIDAL is the songwriter, frontman and guitarist for acclaimed progressive rock group CYNIC who began his film and TV scoring career as a session guitarist for Carsey Werner sitcoms 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN and THAT '70s SHOW. He composed the main title for the Emmy nominated NBC teen series Operation Junkyard and has scored series for H2, National Geographic, Bravo, ABC and PBS. In 2014, Masvidal produced and played guitar on actor Jim Carrey's spiritually reflective children's book and accompanying soundtrack, How Roland Rolls. In 2015, Masvidal lent his name to a line of signature instruments produced by Sweden's award winning .strandberg* Guitars. He recently co-wrote and produced the score for the forthcoming feature length film "The Tiger Hunter" (2016).

AMY CORREIA is an acclaimed singer-songwriter called "a singular talent" and "astute songwriter who avoids cliches" by The New York Times and recently co-wrote and produced the score for the forthcoming feature length film "The Tiger Hunter" (2016).
